Our History
Harrison Hill Elementary School is named for the neighborhood in which it resides. The school was built in 1924, and for many years, students in kindergarten through ninth grade attended class in the building. From 1964-1971, the building housed the elementary school and Harrison Hill Junior High.
Harrison Hill is a Title I school and offers the English Language Learners (ELL) program for students still learning English. A code of conduct and standardized dress code are endorsed by parents, staff and students to foster learning. All students follow a dress code Monday - Friday. Harrison Hill students feed into Kekionga Middle School and South Side High School. The school is located in the Board of School Trustees District 5.
