Students enjoyed pancakes as they celebrated the end of their unit on fairy tales and tall tales.
Pancakes and puppets in 2nd Grade! Students enjoyed pancakes as they celebrated the end of their unit on fairy tales and tall tales. They also made puppets and performed for their classmates, with performances including The Little Red Hen, The Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and more!

Our 3rd graders recently participated in an exciting Indiana Wild assembly that brought their CKLA learning to life!
Our 3rd graders recently participated in an exciting Indiana Wild assembly that brought their CKLA learning to life! Students are currently studying Fur, Fins and Feathers: Animal Classification, learning how scientists classify animals based on shared biological characteristics, physical features and traits. They are exploring vertebrates and invertebrates, animal life cycles, habitats, adaptations and groups such as mammals, birds, reptiles and fish.
During the Indiana Wild assembly, students experienced their learning firsthand as they met and learned about live animals! This hands-on experience helped them make meaningful connections between the classroom and the incredible animals found in our world. What a wild and wonderful way to bring science to life!
